Time Estimate: This step generally takes 5-10 days.

Comprehensive Review and Discovery

Your Role: Collaborate with us as needed, responding to requests for additional information and clarifications.

Our Role: Conduct a detailed review of your current financial situation. This step involves extensive data gathering and analysis to identify opportunities and challenges.

Time Estimate: Depending on complexity, this step can take between 10-30 days.

Personalized Strategy Development

Your Role: Provide input and feedback during the strategy development process. Share insights on your business goals and any specific concerns.

Our Role: Develop a customized financial strategy tailored to your business. This includes recommendations for immediate improvements and long-term growth.

Time Estimate: This step typically takes 10-20 days.

Strategy Discussion (Meeting with Client)

Your Role: Attend the strategy discussion meeting to review our findings and proposed strategy. Engage in a collaborative discussion to ensure the plan aligns with your goals.

Our Role: Present our findings and proposed strategy. Address any questions or concerns you have and make necessary adjustments based on your feedback.

Time Estimate: This step generally takes 1-2 days.

Service Implementation

Your Role: Support the implementation process by providing access and information as needed. Collaborate on any required changes or adaptations.

Our Role: Execute the agreed-upon strategy, integrating our services into your regular operations. This step marks the beginning of our ongoing partnership, where we provide continuous support and adjustments as your business evolves.

Time Estimate: This step can vary widely, typically taking between 30-90 days.

Total Process Time Estimate

The entire Client Partnership Journey usually takes about 90 days. However, this can vary based on the complexity of your business needs. Simpler setups may be completed in as little as 9 days, while more complex cases could take up to 9 months.

Ongoing Services

At Valhalla Enterprise Management, our ongoing services are tailored to meet the specific needs of your business, whether you are enrolled in our Comprehensive Controller Services or our Strategic CFO Solutions. Here’s an overview of what you can expect

Comprehensive Controller Services

Expertise

Over a decade of experience in small business finance.

Monthly

Review of the client’s bookkeeping, completion of accounting, and delivery of standard financial reports (balance sheet and P&L with historical comparisons).

Quarterly
Quarter 1:  Focus on tax preparation with correspondence over email and phone for information gathering. No meeting typically required.

Quarter 2: Review of YTD accounting and rough projections for the year. This often includes a meeting to facilitate tax projections and adjustments to the tax plan/strategy.

Quarter 3: Review and optimize the bookkeeping/accounting system for efficiency and accuracy. This may involve a meeting with the client and/or their staff for additional training or explanation.

Quarter 4: Review accounting reports to prepare final tax projections for the year and plan for any necessary cash flow for upcoming tax obligations. Initial tax strategy for the following year is developed to start in January.

Annual Cycle

This quarterly cycle repeats annually with general consulting provided throughout the year as needed.

Strategic CFO Solutions

Expertise

Monthly

In addition to standard reports, include cash flow statements, comparisons to budget and projected performance, and KPIs.

Quarter 1: Finalizing advanced reporting for the prior year.

Quarter 2: Meeting to analyze previous year (PY) data and current year (YTD) data.

Clients can typically expect 2-3 formal meetings per year, combining those required for both Controller and CFO services.
